Accreditation
Pharmacy Training & Development Project (PTDP) maintains the highest standards of educational quality through rigorous accreditation processes.
Accreditation Status
PTDP is accredited by the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) for the following programs:
- Pharmacist Assistant (Basic and Post-Basic Levels) – Accreditation No. PA2023-045
- Dispensing Course (Act 90/1965 Compliance) – Accreditation No. DC2023-028
Our accreditation status is valid through December 31, 2026.

South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC)
The statutory body established under the Pharmacy Act, 53 of 1974, responsible for:
- Setting standards for pharmacy education
- Accrediting pharmacy training programs
- Registering pharmacy professionals
- Regulating pharmacy practice in South Africa

Our accreditation involves:
- Comprehensive program review every 3 years
- Evaluation of curriculum against national standards
